19-Year-Old Facing Felony Charges For Burglarizing Capital Region Home, Police Say

A 19-year-old man is facing felony charges for allegedly breaking into a Capital Region home and stealing property.

William Kelone, of Schenectady, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 13, following an investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said Kelone was responsible for stealing two dirt bikes from a building in Ballston, located on France Lane, that he entered illegally early on Mon, Oct. 10.

Kelone was subsequently charged with third-degree burglary and grand larceny, both felonies.

He was arraigned at the Town of Ballston Court and was later released to the Saratoga County Probation Department awaiting his next court appearance.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation, which also involved New York State Police, is still ongoing.
